This is NOT a finishing wax. It will get heavily oxidized metal clean in a jiffy with a buffing wheel on your grinder. The finish is pretty bright, just not mirror. Glad I found this one.

I have used rouge for over 35 years. I love the high polish it gives to my silver. This product is defective and luckily I still had some of my old rouge left over so I was able to finish a job. This bar of rouge went in the trash can. Very disappointed and will certainly not buy this product again. I think it has too much moisture as it seems to gum up on the silver metal I am trying to polish. Leaving a hard residue. I dont bother to return such items as this takes more time that it is worth.

I was looking for a rougher grit, they are still useful though. These are big, so they will last a long time.
