SH-C02A is designed for Raspberry Pi 5. With this adapter cable, you can use your USB UART adapter to debug the Pi5 serially without having to buy a dedicated Raspberry Pi 5.

Please note:
SH-C02A is just a conversion cable. It does not support the Serial Wire Debug (SWD) function when you connect the USB UART adapter.

.... I am quite literally the last person one would ask to describe the performance or value of a product like this one. I am not a tech savvy person in the slightest. I have, however, been slowly collecting parts to put into and make my own raspberry pi system. And that is what this product and purchase just was meant for. It arrived and it looks in order and appears to be made well. I will tell but I will update On it, if necessary, once I have put it to use.

Works well enough with my RPi 5 and the USB serial adapter that I have used with earlier RPis. In this case I unplugged the cable for the USB serial adapter that had separate pins for the serial data lines and ground and plugged the 2.54 mm connector onto the USB serial adapter.The smaller 1 mm 3 pin connector fits the RPi debug port connector perfectly.Definitely worth the price for the two cables.
