This is good for practicing trigger pull and reset without having to re-rack the pistol. It does not work with firing pin triggered lasers. Its also pretty expensive for a plastic magazine with a lever, spring and clicker. It also doesn't feel EXACTLY like a trigger pull. Its close but its not the same. It is a relatively tight fit so you will need to push it harder into the grip than a normal magazine. The first trigger pull after inserting is also pretty hard because you are pulling both the magazine trigger lever and the firing pin. But after that it is easier to pull the trigger.UPDATE: If you use this with a Mantis Dry Fire Training Aid, the Mantis will pick up the release of the trigger as a trigger pull. So a 10 trigger pull drill will show up as 20 trigger pulls. The release of the trigger is the same sound as the pull of the trigger. I deducted a star since it can't be used with the Mantis system nor with a laser dryfire cartridge trainer. These magazines are only good for trigger pull and reset training and for that they are not exactly like the trigger pull so I am questioning value now. I will be returning these.

Makes dry fire training alot easier when you do not have to hand jack slide after every shot. When Using it with my Targetize system it will only register shot #1. Without slide movement, trigger rset does not trigger targetize system. I would be curious if anyone has experience with this item using Mantix or Strikeman systems.Ken

The product was recommended to me by several of our Firearms Training Unit Officers because I wanted to be more efficient and accurate with our new duty firearm. Our transition period was extremely short and what many felt as rushed. This device ( DryFireMag) allows the needed repetitions to build muscle memory without spending the time and money to go to the range and shoot. It arrived quickly after ordering and after the short and simple instructions, had it in the handgun and began practicing. I’ve only had it a few days and notice a difference. I highly recommend this product if you desire to be more than an “ok” shooter.

Bought this to practice and work on my trigger pull for Glock pistols. It works well enough for my purposes. Does not play well with the Glock Performance Trigger without disassembling your trigger group and removing the trigger return spring, so it is best to use it in a pistol without this trigger. The fit is very tight in the magwell and it will not drop free when the mag catch is pressed. The reason for dinging it a star is the price. I don't personally see why this item should cost as much as it does. It is pretty much the only game in town as far as this type of item is concerned, so I guess the manufacturer wants to get as much out of it as possible.

I was hesitant to purchase this product at first, but do not regret it once it showed up. I struggled with dry firing before to improve training but now with this I am able to get plenty of practice without using ammo. It can be hard to get the mag to seat properly in the gun. The first trigger pull is very heavy, but after that the rest of the trigger pulls are lighter and more smooth. I am glad I purchase this despite the high price point, it works well. I would recommend to all new shooters.

I recently took a firearms safety class where this was recommended. I was definitely not pulling the trigger correctly or consistently. A friend from church had one he let me borrow. It definitely works. My trigger control is getting better, I don't see the front sight moving nearly as much. Also noticing my muscle memory improving and now squeezing more consistently, and evenly. I usually don't include shipping in my reviews but I did receive the day after ordering. It is pricey, but I'm hoping it'll pay for itself on the range.

Works great. Makes practice more enjoyable. Worth the money. Great paired with a training device such as mantis x2
