For me, it has turned out to be an excellent solution. at first I positioned the foot device in a way that was cutting into my foot and felt like I was walking with a stone in my shoe. Then, I readjusted it. The little elevation the pad provides is just enough that I do not catch my curled toes on my drop foot on the ground or floor. For me, this has made a big difference. Be aware, you might not be able to get your foot with the device on it in every shoe but I mostly wear sneakers and it's fine.

This Drop Foot Brace is so much better than my original. I have better mobility with the support I need. It also has helped my poorly aligned knee position that my old brace caused. So much better!

The design looked good. However, I wear a size 14 shoes and the brace was clearly not designed for someone with large feet.

Il tutore in se' sembra essere di buona qualita'. putroppo ho fatto diversi tentativi, provando a contattare il rivenditore per chiedere un tutore per la caviglia SINISTRA.Sembra che solo quello per caviglia destra possa essere acquistato.Posso per favore sostituire quello ricevuto? sono stata ingannata dalle fotografie, e ho fatto l'aquisto dopo inutili tentativi di ricerca di quello giusto per me. It is mildly effective for my mother, who has 2/5 tibialis anterior strength. She can move through Dorsiflexion in a gravity neutral position (sidelying). However, when ambulating with this brace, she is still having toe drop and "scuffing" the floor or absent toe clearance.However, I can see this working for someone with a little greater neuromuscular control of their tibialis anterior (the muscle which pulls your foot toward your head).So, no this does not provide as much dorsiflexion support as a rigid AFO, but it does provide support and a small amount of dorsiflexion assist. It is comfortable.

My husband has drop foot due to extensive back surgery and this product is not helping his condition. I asked for a return and a refund and was told my only option was a replacement of the same foot brace that isn't working for him now. My suggestion is for you to take note of the company selling this shoddy equipment and never do business with them. I'm profoundly disappointed with their customer service department and while I may have to suck up the 50 some odd dollars I wasted on their product, I hope my review will stop any other consumer from making the same mistake.

Have been wearing this brace for two years to counter the right foot drop foot I have from a progressive neuromuscular disease. The brace effectively prevents my foot from dorsiflexing and dragging my toes. While preventing me from falling, it is also lightweight, easy to put on and by wearing a white sock I can fold the top of the sock down to cover the brace while wearing sneakers in summertime. My only issue is durability. I get about 9 months use before I feel the need to replace. I realize that all disabilities are not created equal, but for me this is doing the trick and is a far more versatile option at my stage of disease than the big AFO braces that therapists often recommend as a first option.Update: After buying numerous braces for my right and left feet, I still feel the same about the functioning of brace. However, at $54 a brace for straps of neoprene and Velcro, I get irritated when I order a right brace and a left brace is inside the right foot envelope. Whoever was to blame, Neofect or Amazon, come on and get it right.

so far it has enough support to hold my dropped foot. i use it in the evenings when i take off my brace. the test will be when i go to the beach next week. overall I am happy with my purchase
