Went to Florida on vacation and took my drone. The last thing I want is to kick up sand from the beach into my motors or into my gimbal. This landing pad is weighted. It's 26 in square and works great for my Mavic 3 pro. I haven't landed in my hand yet but I'm sure I'll be getting to that as I get better at flying. So for a little added insurance, I would highly recommend getting this landing pad From LKTOP and keep all the moving parts on your drone safe from dirt and sand etc.

It is suitable for flying on grass, sand, or any uneven surfaces, minimizing vibrations during takeoff and landing. Its bright colors allow me to accurately locate it even from a distance, and it can be used on both sides. The sufficient weight also keeps it stable on the ground, providing excellent wind resistance. When I'm not using it, it's easy to fold and store in my backpack. It perfectly meets my daily outing needs! Like it!

Worked perfectly for my DJI Air3. Never liked taking off on dirt or sandy areas since it would kick up dust (worst on sand). This solved that so now I don't even worry about it. Weight is good enough that it doesn't blow around.
