Stocking stuffer gift for the wife. She's enchanted by these things. Wound up buying three different styles for her and every one was perfect. Arrived undamaged, packed in heavy Styrofoam. The USB power option is great. Cord is included but not the adapter. Not to worry, most everyone has extras lying around. The power end of the cord is a standard USB but the appliance end is proprietary. I just used an old block from a cellphone,plugged it in, and it's been working for days. No need for batteries if you use the cord. Cord supplied could be about a foot longer unless you put it on a counter near an outlet.I like the dual switch to control the light with or without the music. Sound quality will surprise you. No volume control, but loud enough to get the full effect.Well worth the cost

This globe was beautiful. It is more than the description. I thought it might look cheap, but the glitter sends prisms of light throughout the room. I'm going to order more to give as gifts next year. THANK YOU
