Anyone doing a bit of sewing will quickly realize that it doesn't matter which end of the tape measureyou grab it is always the wrong end. If you turn it over the metric numbers are the same. So, you are forever having to run the tape to the other end to start measuring. This tape measure is a godsend, bothends start from zero. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This measuring tape is definitely one ofthose things I didn't know I needed until I owned it. I owned a 60" tape which was fine b/c I usually make smaller items like baby quilts. I decided to make a larger quilt, and noticed the longer 120" tape on the You Tube I was watching. Not only is this tape 120", it starts at 1" when you flip it...and IT'S PURPLE!! My husband will NEVER "borrow" it!

I use this for measuring out borders and widths/lengths for large quilts. The tape is long enough that I don’t have to move it for large projects. The measurements are pretty much accurate as well. The nature of the product would allow for some distortion over time - the same reason I never use the measurements on my cutting mat and only use my rulers. I do occasionally spot check the tape against my quilting rulers to make sure the markings are still good. It is accurate for the large measurement stuff that I bought it for. The colour is a bonus for me - love purple sewing notions.

The white print on dark purple may not be the easiest for everyone to read. I got this for a purple lover and they loved it. You don't realize how useful a long tape measure is until you don't have one. Yes, it takes time to roll up when your done with it; it's 120 inches long. Good quality and feel will be very durable for years to come.
