Glad I took a chance on this - I’m happy with how well it works. Sharpened several drill bits after watching some YouTube videos. It was fairly easy to fine tune the split point back angle. Was able to get nice results on both high speed steel and cobalt drills with different angles. Didn’t find any issues sharpening fractional drills with metric collets. It will be nice to always have sharp drills ready when doing projects now.

This is an amazing drill bit sharpener, don't waste your money in drill doctor.I did need to watch a YouTube video on how to use it as the instructions are terrible.Overall very satisfied

Purchased many “handy” things in my day. Had the drill doctor, was not impressed. This tool puts a perfect angle and split relief point on almost every single drill bit I own. Nothing worse than loading a bit only to find it dull. Not an issue anymore. I sharpened titanium coated, cobalt and general use bits. Maybe 200 in total in one rainy day. So impressed passed to my friend and he sharpened probably 350 bits in a couple of days (his tool hound brother was visiting) both so impressed I think they both ordered one. We have all bought the combination socket wrench screwdriver cheese grater spark plug tester with the hopes it is a better way to get the job done. This is a great tool.

This is a high quality machine. I replaced my Drill Doctor 750x and this machine does a much better job sharpening drill bits. This model came with 14mm and 15mm bit holders that are not included with the Vevor and most other copies of this original manufacturer MRCM drill sharpener.

Absolutely the best drill bit sharpener I've ever used, including by hand. The 13D does everything it's supposed to exceptionally well. The only complaint I can come up with is the depth and orientation fixture requires a little patience to get it to function as intended. I wish there was a way to adjust it but if you are mechanically inclined enough to sharpen your own bits then you should have no problem figuring it out with a little time. I did contact the company and the customer service was exceptional. My only regret is I didn't buy this sooner.

I have had many drill sharpeners over the years Craftsman, Plasplug, Black&Decker and yesGOD'S gift to dill sharpening a Drill Doctor. I got this this Morning easy to set up and get great results.I read in the reviews that there were no '' detailed instructions'' if you think that put your tools down and step slowly away from the bench! a child could figure this out. I sharpened 50 drill bits with perfect results don't spend more than you have to you won't be sorry .

I've had the unit for nearly a week now and sharpened a couple dozen drill bits. So far honestly I'm pretty impressed over all. I have a few complaints but they aren't insurmountable. Here are my thoughts and notes about this unit, what I like and what I don't like.Positives:> I can't speak to durability, but the sharpener feels as most others have said about similar/probably identical units.> It has both the ability to split point and web thinning (big plus in my book). If you have to chose between one or the other you can get a model with one but I would always choose the one with the web thinning.> Setup and use is rather simple and easy once you understand how it works, but that is the same for all of these companies selling what appears to be the same machine. Watch a few YouTube videos and you won't need the manual provided.> Not sure about the other sellers but this one came with imperial (fractional) ER20 collets rather than the metric ER20 collets. The actually used a label gun to label over the metric numbers pressed into the sheet metal which was kind of cheesy. I actually removed the label because the raised numbers in the sheet metal left the labels only partially in contact and with the oil on the unit it was going to just fall off with a good breeze. Cleaned it up and used a permanent marker to provide a designation for each size collet.Negatives:> The label on the dial for adjusting the web came with a fractional label but it wasn't applied and no clear way to define where and how to set that label. So it is a bit of a guessing game here. Not sure if they removed the metric label and just forgot to adhere the fractional one or what. I played with this a little and think I have a rough idea where this should be and to be honest I think it is a very crude setting anyhow.> Amazon description had conflicting statements about what collets it comes with and how many. As noted it came with fractional collets, but it stated in the description it was to come with collet sizes 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13, 14,15. It only came with 11 (not 13) collets. 11 collets (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13) is what most of the units come with but what is strange to me is it should be at least 12 if you were to be able go through all of your drill bits 1/8" through 1/2", but that leads me to my next point.> The 11 collets provided starts at 1/8" in 1/32" increments, but if you do the math that would be 12 collets. For some reason it seems that many of the Chinese imperial fractional collet packages you can get here on Amazon are also missing 15/32". The collets relatively comfortably accommodate 1/32". So a 1/2" collet will comfortably accommodate 1/2" and 31/64" and even 15/32, but it is a stretch to use one collet to accommodate a 1/16" range. I made it work but it is probably not good for the collet.At the price point here when I bought it for $330 that I am happy with the results I have gotten out of it, but a few $ more they could mitigate what seemingly are very easy things to resolve. I'll be out looking for a couple extra collets, but definitely I'm looking for the 15/23" collet for sure.

This is a must have drill bit sharpener, I've only had it for about a week now but I have sharpened about 50 bits so far and it leaves a great cut quality and split point on the bits! I would recommend this to anyone it's a great value and saves alot of time sharpening bits! And if you wondering just like I was yes it's basically the same thing as the vevor brand time will tell how long the sharpening stone will last but so far I'm overly impressed!!!!

The instructions are terrible, but thanks to a YouTube video, I was able to figure it out. Sharpens bit in only a few minutes. Setup is quick and easy. Bits are very sharp. Well worth the money. Very good quality.
