Do not waste your money. These easily break and do not hold bits. I've lost plenty of paddle bits in walls with these. They don't lock properly, no magnet, and get scuffed very easy.

The red retainer clasp on the end just came off. It no longer grabs the bit. A bit can be inserted, but the bit will stay with the screw when you pull away from the work piece. I am a homeowner, not a professional. I probbaly drove thirty 2.5" wood screws before this happened. Not the best quality.

The bit holders spin on the extension shaft rendering the tool useless. There is only a compression fit that holds bit holder. POS.

I've only been using the shortest extension so far, and it was working well and seemed well made. But it's only as good as its weakest part, and that seems to be the spring that holds the bits in place. Yesterday the spring broke, so bits are no longer held in place. And the locking collar was the only reason I got these.

Literally broke on first use. Now I have to figure out how to get that out of my drill, if I can’t then this terrible tool cost me more than its cost.

These quick chuck ext. work well. When drilling through drywall, you sometimes will lose a paddle bit (falls off into wall) when using magnetic extensions. The quick chucks are a little stiff / sticky out of the package.

So after using these for 2 months I can say that there not terrible for the money. Cheaper than Milwaukee. The quality is definitely lackluster but the chucks seem to hold up. Iv been running these with a paddle bit while pushing at an angle. M18 fuel gen3

The Bit Extensions seem to be of good initial quality and lock on my 1/4" Bits quickly and tightlyOnly disappointment was that the set was just packaged in a series of Ziplock Bags. Would be nice to have in a Storage Set but OK value for the money

I finally had to use these extensions. Right out of the bag, 2 have broken chucks, they do not lock the bit in. And they don't spring back closed. These are garbage and a complete waste of money. I feel stupid for not testing them when I received them. Folks, don't make the mistake I did buy these.

Plumber, purchased for use with an inside pipe cutter and paddle bits.Garbage. Longest one didn't even make it into the drill. Was examining it and noticed the shaft spun freely in the collar assembly. Pulled it off by hand. Bit retainer is a little piece of wire that is retracted by sliding down a diamond shaped hole punched in the side of the bit slot. Mine were poorly stamped and I had to remove waste metal from the hole to get the bit lock to function at all. These are theoretically magnetic but my IPC immediately attempted to leave the extension. Not a great feeling when I'm about to lower it inside a buried pipe. The wire did hold it in, but since it's about 1/32 thick it takes up about 20% of the detent groove, allowing the bit to slide up and down. It slides far enough that the detent groove is out of the slot, producing a wobble. Had a wicked articulation going during the cut, making it more difficult.Poor design, poor materials, poor construction. I'm not even going to use them again.F

The bits wobble once inserted in the impact drill socket, and it hold bits loosely. Beyond confort and usefulness. Not that much of an issu if used wit a drill and short bits.Would return the thing if I can.
