I chose the proper size and cleaned up and checked the work after installing new valve guides. Worked great. I used it by hand and went slowly so the tool cut just fine.

I use this to resize brass bushings on carburetors and I have not had an issue yet.

Purchased this 9/16 inch hand reamer to clean up an existing 9/16 edge bore hole for an Ives privacy mortise bolt. Measured the tool diameter in several places with an accurate dial caliper. The end of the reamer that is inserted into the hole is a full 9/16 inch diameter. There is no long taper machined into the reamer to help center it in the existing hole. How can we get Drill America to provide the advertised hand reamer that can be accurately centered in the pre-existing hole? The tool that we received was made in Yugoslavia.
