The lavender is very good, but as my review says, be aware you may receive it how I did. This was possibly not the fault of the lavender company but rather the shipping process and how packages get thrown around. The bag has a seal with that perforation you have to tear off kind of thing, so this package must've really taken a beaten, because somehow when I opened it, that seal was popped open and the lavender bag was upside down and thus had spilled out into the amazon sack. That pretty much negated any food purposes I had in mind for it, but it makes lovely scent satchets. Overall I'm content with it even though I'm disappointed I didn't get to use it as I had originally intended and would recommend.

I've been using it to do my homemade lavender syrup. The taste comes out so good. They smell AMAZING so I'm thinking of doing some soaps or perfume cause the smell alone distresses me.

Do glad these are on sale - bought 2 packs and literally the day they arrived I bought 2 more after trying.They are perfectly fresh. All petals are “lavender”. And the small traces of non flower parts are bright green. As though these were just picked and lightly dried.I hate lavender, so it takes a lot for me to say good things about it. But as it turns out, when it’s good quality it actually smells very nice. Perfect for culinary uses. Amazing for teas!Came to these after getting 3 highest rated packs of lavender on Amazon. All 3 were 5/5 rating with thousands of reviews. They were all BROWN and smelled off. One even smelled like lavender soap. None were culinary grade, maybe good for soaps.Until I got these I was starting to loose hope.I’m so glad they came on sale because that let me try them. Now regardless of if they start costing more, I will have to keep coming back to these.Not sure what to add for “longevity” rating, so leaving it blank. And 5/5 for value for money as these are on safe at $8-9 now as opposed to the $15+ they show as the usual price
