Very stiff snaps, very difficult to open and close, had to use pliers to open and close. Unusable!

In a size 0 these are a little too stiff because of their size for my uses on many lures . Hula Poppers is an example but a size 1 , though as stiff , is a little longer making it so my fingers can manipulate it better . I have some lesser strength ones ,by the same company , that are a size 1 and they are much easier to grab and work .For decades I've used the old style swivel/quick connect but recently decided to try losing the swivel part to see how it affects my lure action . At this price it was doable to buy these instead of cut the swivel off of my connects .These not only do away with a swivel but also take a lot of weight away from the front of the lure I'm tossing . It doesn't affect my casting distance or accuracy negatively but does allow the lures that swim and dip to be a little more realistic while retreiving.I've ordered a pack of these in a size 1 so I get the extra pull straight strength of these style but the size 1 that I can use easier on more of my fishing arsenal .From 1/64 oz trout magnets to 3/4oz lipless crank baits these work .The size 1 arrived and as expected they are very stiff but large enough for me to be able to manipulate for Poppers and other lures I couldn't get the size 0 to work on .I can barely open the size 1 with my fingers butt hopefully as I use them more I'll get better at opening and closing them .These are the perfect size for my fishing style .

I typically buy name brand tackle, but the price and convenience was too much to pass up. These have performed as well as any other brand I've tried. Snaps are just a bent piece of wire, so it doesn't surprise me that this cost effective solution is just as good. Might as well get more for less.

I like these for fishing and they are to small and very hard to open.

I bought these in two sizes, size 2 and 0, and plan on getting size 1 also. They are super strong and impart great action to any lure. Some might have trouble opening and closing them. I have not found that to be the case at all. My brother on the other did have trouble. Couldn’t work them open and closed without needle nose.

I really like these clips. They are strong and small and haven’t failed (pulled apart) yet.All this being said, the only downside (for me) is I need to use needle nose pliers to get them closed once I’ve attached a jig, bladebait, etc.But that’s just me, these are small and I have big hands.
