This tool is used primarily to secure tissue without the worry of slippage. In oral surgery, Adson tissue forceps are used to grasp loose, excised tissue as well as to manage placement of oral tissue while it is being sutured. Serrated forceps are used on tissue; counter-intuitively, teeth will damage tissue less than a smooth surface because one can grasp with less overall pressure.

This instrument is not listed correctly. The tips are not pointed enough so it makes it hard to pick up or retract skin.Don’t buy. It’s cheap

Very high quality feel medical equipment! It feels just like the equipment I use in a hospital!

Well made of a heavy stainless and not a flimsy product. The tips are blunt serrated and match up well when closed. The serrations on the outside grip part of the instrument are well defined and should be easy to hold onto even when wet.

These appear to be relatively well made SS Adson tissue forceps. They have worked as I hoped when I bought them.
