This humidifier was a super buy! It works so well and puts out a lot of humidity! I can run it all day or all night and not have to refill! The app is so easy and convenient. The light turns off of you want, for night time use so the room is not lit up, or it can be used as a night light. It's also very quiet. I may purchase another for the living room and just keep this one in the bedroom. We live in a dry climate so humidity really helps in the winter!

This humidifier is quiet, lovely, and works like a dream. I love that I can use the controls on it, or use the app. The app makes it possible to turn the humidifier on from anywhere and control the humidity level goal. Turning on (and off) the ambient light is simple. Cleaning is fairly easy too.

I have issues breathing through my nose at night because my bedroom had such low humidity. I have been a user of this brand's smart fan for more than a year. I haven't had any issues with the fan and thought i would give the humidifier a chance. The product has exceeded my expectations. Its very quiet, to the point i don't hear it at all when attempting to fall asleep. I love that it tracks my rooms humidity levels all day and adjusts so it doesn't race to increase the humidity when I fall asleep. The app integration is also top tier. It was very easy to connect to the app i already had and integrate into my Alexa Show. Im even thinking about gifting this to my parents this year at some point. I had one worry since purchase and that was the amount of times i would have to fill the vessel up with water. I've had it running for about 4 days now and haven't had to refill once and that is with it constantly keeping my bedroom at 60% humidity. It also has a small footprint so keeping it on your night stand wont be burdensome at all. Overall 10/10 - 5 star rating and has definitely helped me sleep.

This is not evaporative, so you need to use bottled or purified water. If you use tap water, you inhale dangerous particles. Our air purifier went from almost zero pm to over 800 when using tap water, because tap water includes chemicals and minerals. Wirth purified water, for example, if you have an osmosis machine, there is no issue.

I definitely should have got the Dreo humidifer sooner! I have asthma and have a lot of issues breathing if the air in the room is dry, especially at night. This device has been a life saver! It has sleep mode which produces a smaller amout of mist compared to the manual setting you tend to use during the day. However, I don't mind the sound of it (even on the highest setting I don't really notice it), so I use the manual setting even during the night because the higher amount of mist helps with my breathing. I co-sleep with my two-year-old and he doesn't even notice it's on all night. When the sleep mode is activated, the ambient light is turned off on the device, but if you have it on manual setting like I do then the light is on, which might be an issue for someone. I personally doing mind it, I just want to be able to breathe easily :DYou can also add essential oils, which I absolutely love. There's a specific, tiny case on which you add the drops and insert it into the humidifier, meaning you musn't add the oil directly into the water tank, but this is clearly pointed out in both the instructions and on the device itself. You can also download the Dreo app and control the device this way. It's very user friendly and makes it very convenient if you want to turn off the humidifer while you're in another room. It also shows the humidity level pretty accurately, automatically turns the device off when the water runs out, tells you when you need to clean it, etc.All in all, if you're debating whether to get it or not, just do :) You won't regret it!

I want to address one question I had up front. I had posted a question here about whether humidity target levels could be set within the 5% standard range. I didn’t receive a satisfactory answer, so I installed the Dreo app on my phone, which was very easy to do. I connected almost immediately to the humidifier. And yes, you can set specific target percentages. I currently have mine set to 43%.Another question I had was if it was normal if the fan continued to run even when the target humidity had been reached and the misting ceased. Interestingly, no one has responded to that question, but the AI Rufus came up with the answer that it was normal, and indeed that is the case. The fan runs continuously even after target humidity levels have been reached. I had both questions because we run the device only in auto mode to allow it to kick in when necessary, and I noticed that the fan was running when the misting had stopped. I also found that in our bedroom, where it is used, setting it at 45% caused it to run excessively, but set at 40% allowed the humidity to drop too low. For us, 43% is the sweet spot but can only be accomplished through the app.The unit is of very good quality, light, and compact. It is perfect for a bedroom but not for a larger space. We use a larger capacity Levoit unit for our vaulted great room. The Dreo is also very easy to clean. That is extremely important as anyone who has had one that wasn’t as easy will understand. Mold will grow! We clean ours once a week and fill them with water from a Zero water filter pitcher. That or distilled water is vitally important. Anyone who has gas appliances - furnace, stove, fireplace - will see those flames turn yellow or orange. We did, and it cost us over $300 to have a gas valve unnecessarily replaced.I have read complaints from those who said that the unit runs dry quickly and stops working. If you live in a very dry climate, that is understandable, but we live in the mid-Atlantic and only use them in the winter. The auto mode is perfect as it only kicks in when necessary. For others, larger capacity units would be advisable; for us, using this in our bedroom, it is perfect. There have been no leaks; the units’ lights can be cut off with a tap and cut back on with a double tap. It’s virtually silent; I wouldn’t hear it if it were placed right at my bedside. At this price, I doubt you could do any better. I had not wanted to connect it to WiFi as I thought it was ridiculous to have a “smart” humidifier, but I really wanted to fine-tune the humidity target, which can only be done through that app. All in all, I would highly recommend this for smaller spaces(bedrooms, not great rooms or vaulted ceiling living rooms).

I initially purchased this to help my potted indoor gardenia plant that’s on life support (I suspect I’m not meant to have one, they’re so finicky but I refuse to give up) but was so impressed by it I got one for my bedroom. Here’s what sets it apart from other humidifiers I’ve purchased in the past. First, it’s completely silent, and you can turn the display light off. So many of the tech gadgets I have involve noise or obnoxious LED lights on the control panels that leave my bedroom lit up like an air traffic control radar screen at night. Second, while you can control this manually on the unit itself, I like the convenience of being able to control the humidifier with my smartphone. I also like that you can schedule the days, times, and length of time you want the unit to come on. You can set the level of humidity you want, but It has an “Auto” option that when set will run until the room reaches a standard level of comfort. I’ve been using that feature exclusively and love it. The smartphone app also displays the current humidity of the room. Last but not least, most humidifiers advertise how easy they are to clean and fill. This unit is exceptionally easy to do both. While my gardenia may not survive, I’m glad I gave it a shot. The low humidity this time of year is rough. Running this for a few sporadic hours a day my skin is so much less dry and my hair is no longer standing on end with static.
