I used this to route out the wire cavities in a solid body guitar build. Clean cuts in tiger rosewood (hard wood) take it slow with small depth changes and there is no tear out at all. I have used cheap knock off bits before and was disappointed every time. Get the Dremel brand bits, you won't be sorry.

I recommend installing it with the flex wire attachment that allows it to be used like a pen gripped between the fingers and affords better control. It's precise and does the job well.

I was able to get this in a tight spot without a router base, and slow down the rpm's and free hand rout a channel in very tough wood. VERY SHARP.

I used this small router bit to machine my DIY loudspeaker. The only drawback, is that this bit is not lasting long. 3 panel cutouts were made and it was by the end of its life expectancy. ( MDF dayton cabinets )

小型ルーターながら、ルータービットを付けることで、本格ルーターとして使えとても気に入りました。ただ手持ちで使うため、気を抜くと非常に危ないよう思え、使用中はややビビってます。

I had to mortise the hinges and passage lock on a blank door I was installing. I don't have a trim router, so I used this little Dremel bit in my drywall router. It worked beautifully, and gave me a professional looking result. Just go slowly so that you don't overheat and blue the bit. If I had a dozen doors to do, I'd go with something more efficient, but this solution was just fine for one. By the way, I did not use my Dremel tool to run this bit because it's base blocks the view of the bit; the drywall router was much better.

I love my dremel. I don't use it very often, but every time I do I am glad that I bought it. The base package I got had a small routing bit, but it required a lot of effort for not a lot of payoff. This one has a lot more bite to it, and makes routing out holes and shapes a lot easier. The bit is SHARP, so it also doesn't generate a lot of heat, which is also good because nearly every bit I have for my dremel burns the wood I'm cutting unless I go very, very slowly. This was the missing piece in my collection, and does just the job it was made to do.
