Look nice, took a bit of finagling to get them to line up and be able to be tightened properly without loosening. Adjust of the mirrors themselves are VERY tight.Downside, these vintage like no tomorrow so your image is pretty much a blur at highway speeds or higher RPMs.Safe? No, due to vibration that blurs image, looseness and having to tighten repeatedly. make you “street legal” yes.

Purchased these mirrors at the last minute after one of the stock mirrors on my Stelvio broke, received them the next morning after ordering them. Good quality at a good price with similar overall dimensions to the stock mirrors. The tint on the mirror is fine, actually reduces glare. After a hundred miles or so, no issues. They are shipped with all the adapter studs needed, black are right hand thread, gold are left hand thread, 8mm & 10mm. The thread length on the M10 stud was about 3/16” shorter than my stock mirrors. Not wanting to take a chance of stripping out the threads on the brake & clutch cylinders due to the shorter length, I purchased M10-1.25 nuts, M10 washer, 3/8” nylon washer to use in place of the nuts provided. This gave me the extra thread length needed for the correct thread engagement in the master cylinder.

They fit just the way I needed them too. Love the tint on the mirrors. Allow me to see the traffic behind me much clearer.

I gave these mirrors 4 stars because I think they would work if someone is looking for something inexpensive to replace what they have for now. They are metal, but due to the thinner split design it will bend if the mirror gets caught on something. I was unable to use them on my bike because after installing them I was unable to rotate the mirrors up enough to see behind my bike. I ended up ordering different mirrors with a solid stem. I kept these in case I break a mirror. I can always bend one of these to work until I can get replacements ordered.

These mirrors will be replacing my previous generic mirrors that have stopped holding adjustment. I’ll be installing them after I get another turn signal solution. These mirrors feel heavier duty and will hopefully hold up better. I did notice some wear and metal powder when I disassembled the spring loaded arm pivot. This was a failure point of my last mirrors, so I will be tightening those bolts and not using their ratcheting adjustment. The ball/sockets for the mirror adjustment are smooth and tight, tighter than the balls’ threads that loosened after twisting the mirrors. I recommend disassembling everything and using thread locker. The mounting hardware has 8mm and 10mm options (only a reverse threaded adapter for 10mm). The clarity of the lenses is great without distortion. I like the yellow coating for night vision with headlights, but it shows fingerprints and grease more noticeably. I’ll update if there’s any issue during install or long term.
