This is one expensive poorly built and programmed device. 2400-300 coupon at the time of purchase, plus I got a coupon from a YouTube video for 200, so out the door I paid 2100 after tax. For this price I would have expected it to have good quality and exceptional software. Unfortunately, it’s a long way from that expected experience.The biggest drawbacks are the following:- Can’t handle bumps In lawn, it will think it’s an obstacle and will avoid mowing. (Even when you have the avoidance height set to its max) If your lawn is perfectly flat (or you mow weeds like the video posted by another user) you might have a better go of it.- mapping is a pain (but better than laying wire), and it will get stuck constantly especially if you have areas you don’t want it to go. For example, we have a body of water in the back, we gave it a buffer and a no-go zone. For whatever reason, it kept trying to adjust itself outside of the perimeter and lands itself in the blocked region. Which then throws an alarm and requires manual relocation. (Fixed in latest software)- gets stuck in tall grass. If you like a plush thick grass, forget about it, it just gets stuck and you have to constantly babysit this thing (it now remembers it gets stuck, so it avoids the area every time)- gets stuck in mulch beds. Especially if there’s a “path”. It tends to just dig in. Its tire traction is bad :( probably my biggest gripe. (Still is)- subpar customer support (still the case). If you contact support for how do you get it to do cross hatch lawn stripe, they should be able to tell you on the call. I got nowhere. I eventually figured it out by changing the settings in the app, but it’s not automatic and requires you to change direction of the cut every time. (Would be nice if it was just a simple setting)I had high hopes for this (still do), but it’s a long way from being ready for Florida lawns. Hope this helps others looking to purchase this device.Summary, good enough if you have short lawns with minimal complexities - painful if you have anything else.
