This really does a great job of snaking out plugged up drains. I have been using it in my outdoor pond 4" pvc plumbing to snake out some overgrown algae. It has been great! I paid extra for the steel drum version of the auger and am very glad I did after dropping the auger a few times.

Wow. This really works. I have a clogged sink and tried Draino a bunch of times but it didn’t work. So I bought this and was able to push out the gunk causing my sink to clog. It’s easy to use.

I have so much trouble with hair build up in my sink from having small children with a lot of hair as well as me and my husband. This is a great tool to have if you like to DIY and it cost a fraction of the what one plumber’s visit would be. I like the long 35 foot length and although I will usually use the hand crank it’s nice to have the option of using a hand drill. Overall seems to be well made. They even included a storage bag and gloves. Overall happy to have this useful tool.

Every few months, we need to snake out the drain line from our washing machine. Needed a new 35' auger and saw good reviews and popularity of this one. It was easy to use and the ergonomics of handle and crank were both good. It cleared the line very well with very little effort.The problem was when I got to the end of the cable. Without warning, the cable came completely loose from the drum. It was like it wasn't attached at all. My attempts to reconnect the cable with the drum completely failed.I looked online for advice on how to fix it and saw another reviewer reported a similar problem. I don't know if this is a problem with the design or if there are just occasional defects with the manufacturing.I've had to return it, which is unfortunate, because I liked everything about the auger. That said, I have to give it a 1 star review, because it failed on first use.

I've used a few plumbing snakes in the past, but this one came with a kink in the wire about halfway down. Because of the kink, it's not possible to feed the line to the required depth, making the item all but useless. Disappointing!

I bight new apartment Nd wanted to buy it just in case. There was one drain blockage and it worked great. Was very easy to use.

Product feels well built however the cable was disconnected from the drum. I am not sure how to reach the seller for a replacement or return the product. If the cable was connected, it feels solid and would have worked just fine.Update:Seller reached out and corrected the situation with no questions asked. Excellent service. Would highly recommend!
