I was under the impression that this item was like Styrofoam and was 3D...well it isn't, it's flat rolled up piece of plastic which is fine but I was wanting it for my bearded dragon to climb on....well she can't climb this...

Love it... My tank is vertical (28" x 28") so they really need to make some of these for taller tanks. Had to put about an inch of plain black paper down both sides. It worked, looks like a black frame but you can't ever see it because of the decorations. I couldn't get all the bubbles out but not a big deal. I didn't even notice it until I took this picture. Also, I really like what's going on at the side the dragon is throwing flames towards. LOL if that makes sense. In my tank that would be at the bottom.

Arrived earlier than expected and looked great even before mounting the background to our 50 gallon goldfish tank. Instructions are a little vague but it is very helpful to have a spray bottle which allows you to spray a fine mist of water on the tank and the background when applying. You have to peel a clear layer off to expose the sticky side that goes on the back of the tank. The little tab provided to peel the clear layer off came off on my background and there is no way to peel the clear layer off using fingernails. I used two pieces of tape used to tape of edges for painting a wall and put one on the back of the background and one on the clear layer and gently pulled at the corner. It worked and I was able to take off the clear protective layer after that. I cleaned the tank with glass cleaner (do not spray, put on paper towel) and then attached the top edge to the aquarium. Sprayed a fine mist of water on tank and sticky side of background and used the soft cloth side of a squeegee to work out bubbles and creases. Looks amazing once applied to the tank and gives a 3D effect. Came pre-sized to our tank size and fit fine.
