Brief Review: Great resin to work with for assortment of projects. Definitely very glossy/shiny finish.Detailed Review:I have been working with epoxy resin for over 5+ years now and have tried numerous brands. As resin prices have increased this is a great priced buy! But beyond the affordability of it there is more to like about it.Consistency: Ideal consistency when mixing/pouring. Not too thick but not too watery either. I am able to dome/topcoat my other work with ease and had no spillage or pulling away from the edge.Working time: JDiction states 30-40mins which i found very accurate.Bubbles: When mixing like i do (not slowly) i got bubble BUT the resin degasses itself pretty well as it sits. I didn't use a heat gun after pouring and about 95% of the bubbles i created had gone away during cure time. Very happy with the results!Low odor as claimed but still wear a respirator when using it for safety.Cure time: states 24hrs but was able to demold in 18 at almost full hardness.For Doming/Clear coats: I was the most impressed with how well this worked for doming. It self levels well yet still stays put. My biggest issues are usually that resin will pull away from the edges of pieces but that did not happen with this one! See pic attachedFor Deep Pours: This resin does get HOT when curing. I poured in a thick plastic mold that up to 1 inch thick in depth and a few hours into curing you can feel the heat. Be careful if using with silicone molds that aren't high heat resistant!! in particular the clear/thin silicone ones. Everything I made demolded without issue from both plastic and silicone molds

Update: I have mixed feelings about this resin, it's crystal clear, low odor (you still have to wear PPE when working with resin tho), It gives you plenty of time to work! But at the same time it cures slowly. As a coating resin to dome or make resin tumblers it's perfect. As a casting resin it takes a while to cure completely (about 2 or 3 days depending on which mold you're using). Make sure to mix TWO EQUAL parts BY VOLUME! And Mix, scrap the sides and bottom for about 5 mins to make sure it's mixed properly. This is not a deep cast resin so don't even try to cast in a deep mold! They advice to not pour more than 3cm in one layer! I will purchase it again. I honestly don't care If it takes more time to cure when casting resin, it still gives me the results I want and it's very easy to use and it doesn't leave my area smelly.I haven't tried it yet but look at this! It's crystal clear like water!!Will edit this review when I use it.It comes with everything as described very well packed!This is how a resin should look like! Not yellowish like other brands...

I will have to say instructions are very vague, as a first time user i was absolutely frustrated, with that being said I will have to say PLEASE IGNORE ANY OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS....due to those reviews I was so skeptical of this product because I didn't want to ruin my first project, I even considered buying another so I knew my project would be safe but I took a leap and decided to try it with what ever knowledge I did have with epoxy for example if you don't mix the product well it won't harden correctly which is one of the main complaints I saw, yes the epoxy does take a decent amount of time to dry, its not the fastest one on the market but I assure you it works great, I went out of my way to leave some in the measuring cup I used and its hard as a rock! No bending! And again this comes from a first time epoxy user! Also the smell was VERY mild which made me very happy since I have limited space to work in.

So i read that alot of people are having problems with this product regards to their molds being bendy. And i did a bit of research and you have to make sure that you do equal parts of the resin and hardener. If its not equal parts then yes it will be bendy, so you have to be precise with your measuring. A few of my keychains were bendy but i just kept trying and now they come out solid.Also if you do not let them sit for 3 days they will be bendy. I notice 3 days guarantees that they will be dry. I had a keychain that sat for 2 days and was bendy so i let it sit for a third day and it became hard.Overall this is a good product! They give you some helpful tools in the kit but my only complaint will be that its very hard to clean those cylinders that you use to measure out the resin and hardener. I can never get them perfectly clean but other than that i love it!

This was my first Resin project. Our family put together a puzzle that they wanted to hang on the wall. I watched few YouTube video's and settled on using Art Resin. This kit did the job, and worked very well despite some other issues I had.The torch I purchased to heat the resin to get the bubbles out kept shutting off when I turned it horizontal (I later figured out it works if I turn it completely upside down). However, turned out the resin just didn't have any naturally produced bubbles (see attached photo), so I didn't need the torch (which I thought that was odd but certainly worked in my favor). I don't know why their were no bubbles, maybe I had the right temp, mixing time, or possibly the quality of resin?Overall the job turned out nice with a few puzzle edges looking wet. I used one coat of clear Elmers glue to seal the puzzle first, but next time I will use to two coats to make sure I don't have any bear spots as I think that's what happened.Finally, the cups and mixing sticks were too small for this job, so I used my own. Next time I would order this kit again, but when I remove the resin bottles from the box I will wear gloves as there was some excess resin residue on the bottles and some of the packaging materials.Overall great product, and I would recommend this to others. Thanks.
