It's a perfect fit. Don't waste your money on the "universal" lock ring tools. A lot of people mentioned using cheater pipes or impacts but using a SHORT extension and socket worked well for me. 2009 Corolla

Worked awesome for the plastic lock ring on my 2011 scion TC. Very easy to remove fuel pump assembly with this tool. Definitely worth the money to do it the right way and not worry about breaking the fins off with a hammer and chisel. Would recommend for sure!

If you are replacing a fuel pump on a 2010 Corolla, get this tool. I first tried a three prong remover, but it broke some of the plastic tabs on the fuel pump retainer ring. This tool has 9 contact points and worked like a charm. I applied a lot of force (with a 3 foot breaker bar) to loosen the retainer ring and break it loose. I’m glad I bought it and I recommend it.

The tool arrived in good condition. It worked perfectly for my 2008 Toyota Matrix fuel tank lid even after I broke some of the plastic edges off when I tried with a hammer and screwdriver.

This tool fitted like a glove onto a Corolla 2007’s fuel pump assembly. Took 15 seconds to remove and another 15 seconds to re-install. No banging and no breaking. Worth every single pennies.

Without this and an impact wrench it is impossible to remove the ring!

Product works great. Welds on the tool aren’t phenomenal, but they get the job done with a breaker bar.Couple tips. The tool doesn’t lock in, 360 degrees around the locking washer. There’s only 2 or 3 places where it’ll fully seat. You want to make sure it 100% slides into all of the grooves or it’ll slip. Once you get the tool seated, take the breaker bar and point it up, so you can tap the tool down into the lock washer a few times. Theres more than likely dirt and build up around the lip of the fuel tank. Do this a few times, and vacuum well around the tank before opening.I made some marks on the washer so I knew exactly where it needed to be tightened back to when re installing. Worked great!

Tried other U shape ajustable tools and ended up just braking the plastic fin’s but with this tool and a long breaker bar i was able to get the ring off !! What helps is that there is multiple contact points and it sit low on the ring. Had to be two person doing that job , one holding the tool firmly in place and the other working the breaker bar. Looks easy but believe me you will be happy you bought this instead of other ajustable U shape tool.
