This is a solid choice for a grab and go collection of the most essential pliers you will need for a project. Good quality tools and excellent roll and tie pouch to carry them in.

This is a very good product, well made, and very sturdy. I found them good for repairing a sink, for which I needed to replace the sink drain mechanism.

I bought one set to keep in one of the cars and ended up buying a second set to keep in one of the other ones. I would not be surprised if I end up with a third set.I was surprised to see that all the pliers and cutters had jaws that lined up perfectly. I can't be the only one who has some really crappy ones laying around that are all sorts of sloppy with nothing lining up. Not these ones.

My daughter needed a decent,basic tool kit for assembling stuff and doing minor repairs around the house and in her car.I liked the look of these tools from the pictures because they looked a bit more ergonomic and durable than the ones with the thin foam grips that slip off the handles.They come with a decent pouch to keep everything together and keep the tools from rattling around in the toolbox.So the tools themselves:The adjustable wrench is not bad. There's not a lot of slop or play in the jaws. Adjustment is smooth. The handle is comfortable and seems adequate but not super strong. It should do the job, but I don't think it would stand up to extreme abuse.The locking pliers actually seem nice.The grips are comfortable for as long as they'll last.The pliers themselves feel very close to the quality of the name brand.The square nose (linesman) pliers look and feel very nice.Everything lines up and fits together perfectly and operates smoothly.The grips are comfortable.I haven't tried it yet, but the cutter looks perfect & I feel confident that it'll work as it should.The groove joint pliers were the main reason I chose this set over the others in it's price range.I wanted 10" pliers because that size is much more useful around the house than the smaller sized ones.I like the grips on the handles.The jaws seem like they'll fit and work well with most common plumbing and automotive fittings.Actually, as someone who's worked as a home improvement professional for 45 years, a good set of groove joint pliers can be the most useful tool in your box.These guys are a little bit wonky when it comes to adjusting the jaws.Some positions operate nice and smoothly while others don't line up well without a little bit of effort & bind up a little until they slip into place.I'm not totally fond of the pivot point that connects the two sections. It looks like a potential point of failure to me.But I think it's adequate for most of the jobs I expect my daughter to get into.Still, I think these will be the most likely tool in this set to end up being replaced.But even taking that into account, the set is a good value.A better quality set of 10" groove joint pliers will cost at least as much as this whole set.So if you're looking to put together a backup tool kit for the house or something other than your main set for every day professional use you won't go wrong with this one.
