I purchased a white wood dowel from a chain lumber box store. Amazing, it’s diameter was 1/4 inch.Your dowel was not even close to 1/4 inch.Did someone grab the wrong size? Is your quality control really quality??The company did not respond to the note enclosed with the return.My opinion, Avoid this company.

The quality on this dowel was fine. It was a walnut dowel without any imperfections. The important point is that it was only one, 36" dowel per package.I had assumed it was a pack of several, but looking back now, the listing does not say anything about a package. Had i realized it was only a single dowel, i would not have purchased because i live in a place with plentiful walnut and i can turn my own.Again, the quality is perfectly fine, timely delivery, but i won't be ordering this again.

Used it to connect all the pieces of my lower assembly for a walnut coffee table I built. Wen't pretty good. Rods were a little larger than 1/4", but with some sanding got them down to right just right.
