This is great for flying. Some airlines will count this as a standard bag as long as it is below 23 kg, so you don't need to check in two bags. I got all my ski gear for backcountry skiing including clothes in the other other compartments. Helmet might have to go into the hand luggage. I flew two times with this without problems.

Great bag but getting holes where ski binding are. Will duck tape area and should last 3rd season.

I have not yet traveled with this bag. However, the canvas look and feel sturdy. I appreciate how the base is solid plastic and should not rip when rolling. The protection seems adequate for skis and boots, and the different pockets are specious to store the equipment.

I took this ski bag overseas with my 180mm Atomic Bent’s. Very light weight & flexible skis.I bought this bag for the amazing amount of storage and genuinely I do like the bag design. But the quality is not worth the $$.I got back from my first trip with the bag to find a 2-3 inch tear at the bottom by the wheels. The base has a hard plastic shell which I would think is the most durable part, but the fabric tore wide open. The bag wasn’t packed to the brim. Just my goggles in the middle pouch. One boot up top in the first pouch and one boot in the bottom pouch. Inside the bag I had the one pair of skiis and a couple sweatshirts for extra padding.Idk if I’ll get a replacement but if not I’m going to spend an extra $20 for a true hard shell case.

I have been meaning to do a review of this bag ever since I first used it for a ski trip to Japan. I packed it with my powder skis laying flat side by side, which gave tons of room in the pockets over my tails and shovels for my 28.5 ski boots (roughly 11.5 shoe size), all my ski clothes, helmet, shovel, probe, avy beacon, and much more. My 182cm skis fit without even expanding the length which would give another 10cm. I put clothing in the middle pocket which worked great to pad my bindings. A trip to Japan to ski was a true test of a ski bag as it had to be rolled to the airport, make it though luggage handling, rolled/carried/dragged through Tokyo train station up and down stairs, onto trains, through city streets, shoved in all kinds of spaces on trains and vehicles.... and made it through 10 days of this and home (twice) with nothing but scuffs on the skid plates. Does it seem like the most burly and durable bag out there? No, but definitely durable enough, and with all the features I wanted at a very low cost. My only very minor complaints would be that the compression straps don't like to stay tight (straps are a bit too stiff or slick) and the zippers on the three big pockets are actually too easy to use. I didn't trust that they wouldn't come unzipped when going through airport luggage handling, so I put mini carabiners through the eyelets to secure them closed (where you could use travel locks instead if you wanted) and this alleviates that concern. I have been very happy with this purchase, especially at the low price!

Plenty of room in this bag for all your equipment. Skis, poles, boots plus clothes. Easy to carry through airports, etc. Unfortunately, the only problem is that the bag began to rip after only three trips. Frankly, it seems that the weight of the boots was just too much for the zipper on the pocket that held them. Although I didn't lose anything out of the bag - I can't use it again unless I get a new zipper - and I'm not sure that I trust the rest of the bag...

Seems to be great quality off the bat, loaded it up with one board, set of DC (men’s 11) boats in the big pouch, my helmet/goggles in the center and my snow pants and gloves in the last. Fits everything snowboarding wise for me with room to spare. I could probably fit my pants with my helmet/goggles in the center and my jacket in the last compartment since I usually don’t use my jacket except when snowboarding (I have a carhartt daily for work).I just recently got my DC boots and they’re a bit thicker than my previous boots to where my snow pants barely fit over the top of them, but they may just need wearing in to slim down above the ankle. The boots fit pretty snug in the biggest compartment, so if you run a bigger boot or a thicker one you may have a slightly harder time fitting both in the big compartment and may have to do one in different ones. Besides that the bag fits everything I need and so far works great.I wish for the price it was more of a hard shell or at least had a hard shell insert so the bag wasn’t as flimsy, but since my boards meant to flex I’m not too worried about it. Overall I’d give it a 5/5 unless something happens under stress like a zipper failing, but all seems good for now.
