Good quality and value for money. My child who is a 5th grade student loves it.

I’m just a beginner but after 8 months it’s working well.

I’m using this as a beginner horn, but the case seems very weak and flimsy. The horn works great so far.

This is a STEAL!!!! A decent horn for beginners for sure!although on thing on the one i got sent, first thing I noticed the third valve was stuck and I accidentally bent the valve, but I was able to bend it back but then it was sticky for a bit, so I oiled it and with use it came right out and is working fine now, don't know if it's a lemon problem or just needed some oil with use but It works fine now.Great horn with good tone!Overall good horn for the price point.

The horn overall isn’t bad, the sound is good for me. The gloves were weird, but the biggest part that bothers me is there is corrosion on the metal where the mouthpiece fits. I’ll research if it’s a no go or salvageable. If it’s not salvageable, I’ll be returning.

I'm not a professional french horn player, but I played in school bands and orchestras for more than 10 years. I even made first position in the state orchestra three years in a row. This horn played well right out of the box, and as far as tone, I could not tell a difference from horns I have played that cost 5x more. The kit was great including a light and well-constructed case, and several useful accessories. The only thing missing is a spit valve which is a minor inconvenience. Instead you just pull out a slide.

My son joined band this year and the French Horn they wanted us to buy was around $2,500. We had no idea we would be spending that much for an instrument. We found this and was a little skeptical, but decided to give it a shot. We have been very happy with it. It was just as described and have had no issues with it. It has been a great introductory instrument for him and we didn't have to break the bank.
