It wants to do more but the clamp is just too narrow to be sturdy. You set it and it might move in you. Especially if someone bumps the table.Also have to be creative with the string to tie the net back.Will get the more expensive one next time.

The net and clamps for the ping-pong table we had tucked away in storage were misplaced, when it was time to bring it back to our rec room. Couldn't be happier with this one. Easy to set up, great quality. Should last us a long time.

Our ping pong table came with a clap type net, and it's been the single point of disappointment since day 1! One side or both tilt to the left or right with the tension of the net despite how many times we clamp it back again. In addition, the table is foldable and by design there's about an inch space between two halves, which means that depending on which side of the table the net is clamped, one of the players has an inherit advantage!As soon as I saw the design of this clamp, I ordered it, since it looked very sturdy with its metal components. The most important thing for me was the way it attached to the table with the round clamp with a screw. I received it earlier today and installed it immediately. I placed a piece of wood under the table on both sides perpendicular to the space two halves and installed the net right in the middle. While the clamp type net had to be installed on either half, this set up allowed me to screw the round plate right in the middle of the table. Finally, a fair play! :)Really happy with this purchase! It's an heavy duty net that should last us for a long time. Played about 3 hours following the installation today, and it did not move a millimeter from where I installed it. Will update this review accordingly if anything changes.

Let me start with - overall it works well enough for what we wanted it for. We are not super serious about ping pong, just enjoy playing with our kids for fun. We do not have a regulation sized table and we’re looking for something to work with our kitchen table that is roughly 4’x8’. Our table is 1.5” thick and the listing states that it fits up to 1.5” thick, however, that is definitely not the case. I would stick with 1” and below, thickness wiser. The squeeze lever of this is impressively hard - but almost too much so. Once on the table, because of the silicone, it stays on very nicely. The silicone did leave black marks on our table from me trying to get it to fit. It did not as I stated above. I ended up finding a 1” thick piece of wood and used that as shown in the picture. Again - that worked well enough for us and our need of it. The netting is best used for a table wide enough. Ours isn’t as wide as a normal ping pong table so instead I made it work by wrapping on end of the net around the pole. This made it sag a little. Next - the pole that the net attaches to moves up and down the slightest amount to unlock and lock it in place. This took me longer than I’d like to admit to figure out and caused issues with me closing it. So take note that it moves up and down to lock it. Pull up to unlock it when trying to close it to store. Lastly the listing shows a bag that stores the netting. This is not what was in my box. It was just the netting rolled up and the 2 pieces for the table. It does not fit easily back in the box it came with so it would be nice if there was a travel case with it.
