When i first got this i was a bit dissapoited becouse it came in a cardboard box, the gun was just in the foam packaging not the double eagle but i didnt really care. next when i opened the box the safty was broken, and i had to rip it out but it still works just no saftey. I shot the gun i was amazed. AMAZING POWER! i shot the gun against the metal barrel and the bb exploaded! its really accurate exept the bb rises after you shoot it but not to bad. remember this gun is a shotgun ment for cqb not sniping. over all pretty impressed and also my shells done eject out of the gun i hace to pull them out sometimes. but that will probably be fixed later on. i would deffinitly buy this gun. the price is right. i have a 350$ full metal M4 with 450 fps and i shot the metal barrel with it and the bb bounced of. the shotgun has the mst fps out of a gun i have ever seen. i would but it anywhere from 450 to 550 fps. the shipping came 3 days before squedualed and i was very happy about that. if your looking for a good cheap spring rifle/shotgun, i would use this. the only reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 is becouse of the miner things i listed above. most people dont have the issues i have had with it soo dont worry about it just buy the gun and have fun shooting your friends!

Honestly the day after i received the gun it broke i did nothing to it. Did not drop it or bang it NOTHING!!! it was a cool gun but broke the next day. To return it was also difficult. After all this gun is a piece of junk.

As soon as i received this i tried it out its a good shot but, the shells broke after being loaded they fall out of their case i added tape, the back was very diffucult to pull in and out.

The DE M183A3 is a decent entry level Airsoft for beginners, it feels relatively solid when shouldering the gun, and the slide and action doesn't feel as cheap as other similarly priced spring guns. (the Gun is nearly all plastic)PROS:RANGE: 3/5 stars, tested hitting a 1 inch target easy at 35 feet, and that is w/o any hop up actually fired better w/ hop up off, hop up caused a curve in trajectory, common to cheap airsoft guns like this)BUILD (FEEL for the price): 2.5/5 starsI've paid the same for less quality plastics, but no metal so it is what it isPOWER: 3/5 starsI did not chrono the gun, box claims 380fps, most tests I've seen are more like 320ishsimilarly priced crosman shotty's don't go NEAR 300 even (they claim 400 but that is some marketing guy's bull)REALISM: 3/5 starsI like my airsoft to be based on real firearms and retain real features of their realsteal counterparts, this gun has a retractable stock, realistic action, and loads BBs into the magwell via shells.CONS:QUALITY CONTROL: 1.5/5 starsIts a DE(Double Eagle) while the price is attractive DE is VERY hit or miss, I stated the build feels solid as it does feel sturdy, however upon opening the package the magwell cover and the internal clip that locks said cover and shell into the mag well itself was defective, this is the 3rd different DE gun I have owned, while one team mate of mine has had a DE based on the Sig 552(I don't recall the DE model)last for years with regular use, my 552, my g36c, and now my M183A3 have not held up at all, the latter broken before use even.I was only able to test by holding the shell into the mag well with my hand...RELIABILITY: ??/5 starsI cannot speak accurately to the reliability of this model as mine was essentially DOA.SUMMARY:While the gun scores a 3/5 for the sub categories overall I cannot personally recommend this to anyone because of the reliability issues all my DE guns have had, again others haven't seen these problems but I can only go off of my own personal experience. after shipping the gun was $50, If you have $50 to spend I can reccomend by personal use a TSD M9 C02 Pistol (4/5 stars great quality, power for the same price) if you don't want/need a pistol then Save for a G&G combat machine M4A1 for only $90 more (if you saved $50 before you can easily save $50 two more times to get a high grade, high quality gun, 5/5 stars)I'd recommended another shotgun but I need to research another one before I can recommended one, I have HEARD(only heard never tested) the UTG M3 is good...

this is a very suprisingly accurate airsoft gun for a shotgun.I can shoot people from about 100 feet dead on and it stings pretty bad, being at 380 fps.the pump is good and the adjustable stock is a little sticky, but it can go from long to short.The shells give a good realistic feel and it holds more bbs then a normal magazine (from a different shotgun)!SIDENOTE!--> do not use the sling, as the clip breaks, possible making your gun fall to the ground and maybe chp a piece.Pros:Very Accuratemobilehigh cap shellseasy hop-up adjustmenthigh fpsCons:shells slip out of holdersticky adjustable stock

Loved this gun! I actually got this as a "sidearm" for my JG M4A1 (Unconventional I know) and I actually found myself using this as often as my primary! For backyard matches and small skirmishes with a group of four to six, this is perfect. I've gotten a few kills with this baby, and some of them were at a surprising distance (practice with this gun helped obviously). It's constructed of durable ABS except the major mechanisms of course, and the extendable stock came in handy for farther targets.Pros:DurableCheapDecent range for a back-up (I've been able to hit running opponents roughly 50 feet away at times)The strap makes carrying it WAY easierComes with 4 "shells" (magazines that safely hold about 15 bbs each) and a mount for your gun to stick the shells inCons:If you're not careful with how you put the strap through the gun it can fall outThe magazine mount is just a little too big for the shells (They can fall out while you're running, I fixed this by putting a couple layers of duck tape on the inside of where the shells go and painting it black over)SINGLE SHOT, NOT MULTI SHOTIf you pull out the stock to full length too fast you can actually pop it off the gun. This doesn't break the gun though, as you can easily throw it back on.Overall, I would only advise this as a backup for shotgun lovers who want a little accuracy. But in good hands this bad boy is a steal for $45 given it's quality and performance.
