Works great! I use it for running a 1 inch impact gun definitely does the job and seems to be great quality especially for the price!My only complaint is one end of the 5 foot hose doesn’t spin freely when putting it on, you have to spin the hose with the threads making it a little difficult to install just on the one end which is why I give it 4 out of 5 stars

I had been looking at this just before Prime Day and was surprised that this reel was one that Amazon placed on special. It just looked from the description that this one well made so I ordered it. It is more than I expected, the mounting bracket is heavy duty and with the four anchors included, the reel will never come off my garage brick wall. The hose is very flexible and easy to pull out and also retracts nicely. No complaints whatsoever.

I spent a fair amount of time trying to find the highest quality hose reel. They all appear similar. The problems with most appear to be related to locking and unlocking reliably. With this one, you listen for a distinct intermittent ratcheting sound, stop pulling, and it's locked. Give it a tug when you're finished and it retracts equally well. So far it has worked flawlessly. It is very heavy and has the build quality I wanted. The option for a 65' hose really helped in my application. The hoses are very high quality and, unlike some other choices, this one includes the hose to connect to the air compressor.

I really like this hose reel. The dual arm design prevents the hose from slipping off the reel. I had issues with one-arm designs. Buy once: cry once. There are less expensive hose reels, but the frustrations associate with the hose jumping off the reel is not worth it for me. Good design matters.

Update: The company contacted me to find out the issue, once they understood what problem I had they sent me a replacement unit double packed that arrived fine and is working perfectly, EXCELLENT customer service form these folks. The unit is well made and was easy to install especially with the swivel fitting on one end of the included lead hose. This unit is the best air hose reel deal on Amazon.Very well made reel, but with two shipments both arrived bent. First order box was perfect but reel was very bent and nearly scraped arms as it moved side to side when pulling out hose or retracting it. Second order box was crushed and reel was bent in the same manner. It looks to be very heavy duty and fairly priced, if you can get lucky enough to get a good one.

I bought a 3/8” hose reel and realized it was too small and wanted something sturdier so I returned the 3/8” and bought a1/2” reel. I had no problem returning the smaller one and they offered me a 15% discount, but I had already bought the larger one so I asked if they could still offer me the 15% and they made it happen!! I was very pleased with their customer service, and the 1/2” reel is very sturdy all steel construction easy to install it is a little heavier but still did it myself, I did not use the bolts that came with because I installed it on the ceiling and their bolts are mainly for concrete I had some 3/8” bolts that I used. I would definitely buy from this company again they did me right!! Thanks!

Replaced a leaking, cheap 25’ hose reel with this reel. Install was easy (but the unit is heavy) with no issues. All the needed pneumatic parts were included, including a few feet of teflon tape and a spray nozzle. Four concrete anchors were also included, but I used my own lag bolts into a wooden header.Full extension was easy and the retraction from full extension was easy although. It did need some guiding so it didn’t bunch up in one part of the reel. They’re small but there are 4 rollers to help guide the hose.The 50’ hose is now long enough to reach out of the garage to the driveway without needing an extension.The unit is well built and I’m very happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend!
