Seem like good pads, but they are supposed to fit bars 5.5" - 8.0" in circumference. My bar is 5.5" and the pads were way to big. If they are wrapped tightly around the bar, the velcro doesn't line up. If they aren't wrapped tightly around the bar, the pads rotate which is very annoying. It think they would work nicely on a larger bar, but I'm not believing the 5.5" claim.

These work, but it's hard to get them snuggly on roof racks. When I tighten the straps on my kayak they often end up getting pushed off the rack leaving very little padding between the kayak and that rack itself.

Used a couple times now. Velcro seems sturdy. I plan to take them off in between uses to extend life of the pads unless I am using again within a few days. So far I have not had any problems with sliding or twisting. These are good for areo-style crossbars. I do not know about square or round crossbars. Make sure to measure both crossbars before deciding on pad size. My crossbars are different lengths and I didn't realize it until after I ordered the pads. Luckily I measured the shorter bar. These are 28" in length and I also ordered the 10' Dorsal Locking straps good to transport 1 board.

we had the original version we ordered from Amazon and noticed after a year it started to fade so I called the company and the owner said no problem I'll send you out the new set which it's made out of a completely different material that never fades. he sent it to us with no charge to us whatsoever didn't ask for anything now that's customer service thank you so much they look fantastic and are holding up wonderfully!!

Lleva un velcro muy fuerte y la espuma no es muy blanda, más bien lo contrario, estupenda para amortiguar el peso del kayak. Parece bueno, a ver con el uso si se mantiene, tiene pinta de aguantar.

I've added these to the transverse pieces of my car's roof rack to transport an SUP from my house to the beach. The length of the pads is fine for my 30" wide board. The Velcro fasteners are sufficiently sturdy. Because of the sticky nature of Velcro it was a bit difficult to neatly position the cushions around the metal bars. However, with patience, I eventually got them settled to my satisfaction. We'll see how these stand up to weather. So far I'm happy.

These are a perfect fit for my Aero type Roof rack bars. Plenty of grip on the velcro and the padding is on top where you actually need it! They appear to be well put together and are excellent value for money.

Excellent product so far. I installed wood cross-beam racks to my 57 Chevy wagon. I will get the measurements for you guys but in the mean time they fit perfectly and look pretty decent. Since the pads are very long the logos are actually quite large (front AND back if you were wondering). I just generally hate being a rolling advertisement, so I wish they were more unobtrusive. It's not a well known brand so at least it's not like I'm trying to be some sort of brand tramp. The Chevy is always garaged so I won't really be putting these to any tests of the elements. Good buy for the price, thanks Dorsal.
