35 days after purchase (returns accepted up to 30 days) I tried to install the self-adjuster kit. The threads on the self-adjuster assembly were stripped/galled inside the female part (threads on the male end were fine). Regardless of my attempts to clean/lube the threads, the two parts of the adjuster would only thread together about 1/2 way before reaching a point where excessive force was required to continue the insertion (threading) process, making the adjuster useless. My mistake was assuming the manufacturer (Dorman) had a quality assurance program and there was no need to test thread the adjuster halves immediately upon receipt of the kit.
