These Orings are not OEM but they work. The OEM seal that came with the OEM hose is square to rectangle.- I would consider this a temp fix. If your hose is leaking (Cold) under pressure, from the seal (Like mine) then you have approximately 90,000 miles on the hoses, and they are due for replacement... Unless you plan on running them to failure. In which case you'll be Found On Road Dead (FORD) instead of First On Race Day (FORD). I guess it depends on what FORD you're driving.Oring Replacement Notes: - You'll need about a 3' 5/16 drain line and a bucket. I drained 1 gallon replacing the "upper" hose seal only.- I removed my cold air intake tube for better access.- I used a sheet of plastic to cover the serpentine belt to prevent antifreeze from soaking it, instead of removing it.- I used a couple bungie cords to hold the hose up, so it didn't make a bigger mess. The fluid came from the T, not a lot, but enough to soak your belt if you don't cover or remove it.- I did not have to completely remove the hose lock clip. I only had to drop the side down I could see and my hose had little to no resistance when I pulled it off the T.- Start to finish... Including bringing the antifreeze up to temp, cooling, re-topping off and clean-up was about 2.5US Navy Chief (Retired) hours.

Don't go to Ford. They don't sell just the oring. they will sell you the hoes as they come with oring.Used they a year ago and have had no issues. Plus much cheaper. Highly recommend!

Had a somewhat minor leak from the Y-pipe connection of the coolant system, which connects the upper hose, the intake and the thermostat. Ordered this kit and removed the connection after draining the rad, finding the old o-ring seal was completely flattened. Got it out with a small pick and installed the new one, fit perfectly and put it all back together. Refilled the coolant reservoir and had to "prime" it by revving the engine a few times to ~3k RPMs. You'll know the air is out of the system when your cabin vents put out warm air at engine operating temp. Topped up coolant and haven't had a issue since.

Once everything,disassembled these went right in. No need to replace the whole T. These worked great and no more peepee leaks in the driveway overnight. Highly recommend.

Purchased this to replace the leaking upper hose gasket on my 2017 f150. Took twenty minutes to install. The old gasket on the right flattened out and caused coolant to leak.

Con este kit,, se logra la unión de la manguera sin necesidad de cambiarla ,,, claro siempre y cuando la manguera se encuentre en buen estado ,,, se sustituye el oring por el viejo y se acaba la FIFA de anticongelante
