Work well, do not make the same mistake as I did and only change one as the other failed a week later.

This was a perfect replacement for a 2013 Volvo S40. There are heavier duty ones out there, but this is OEM quality.

You can't get this parts no where, because it's on back order just even from the dealer, and I got it from here: now, on my case, I had to made some modifications because the backing place on the top, they didn't align.

Broke the mount on rear passenger side after hitting a major pothole… these arrived quickly , ordered two and replaced both sides as they were both over 12 years old… replaced the rear shocks at the same time … good quality exact fit.

Broken rear shock mounts seem to be a chronic problem with Mazda 3s in a string of successive model years. My right one went at about 85K miles, and the left one just went at 100K. They're relatively easy to fix if you have a deep socket wrench set and some patience. Plenty of YouTube videos can show you how. The Dormans are an exact replacement, less expensive than others, and do the job fine. If I keep this car for another 100K miles I suspect these will crack too. They don't rust out. These are stress fractures from bearing the brunt of constant up and down motion, and the aluminum just gives out. If you want something that lasts longer, look for a more durable, more expensive replacement. I took my chances with these. So far so good.

Exact replacement. The mount is easy to install, no need to remove the wheel if servicing on a lift. Be careful removing the upper mounting bolts, if corrosion is present they may break ( I had one break). If one breaks it is relatively easy to replace. 1) Remove the cup holder from the last row seating area to expose the upper mount bolts. 2) Place tape over the bolt head. 3) Using and air hammer or hammer and punch drive the broken bolt into the vehicle. (the tape will make sure it doesn't disappear and rattle forever). 4) Find a suitable bolt and have a helper keep it from spinning on the inside while you tighten from inside the wheel well (Tighten carefully, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN).

I bought this to replace my rear driver shock on a 2007 Mazda 3. I had replaced the passenger rear a year ago and was too lazy to do both even though the guy where I bought my previous mount said I should replace both. This product came just as described. It is identical to the one I had bought from the automotive supplier and comes with a set of 2 new screws to mount onto the car. For the price you can't go wrong.Install is straightforward; if you’re not familiar with installing this but feel like you are handy enough I would recommend searching for instructions online. Otherwise, leave it up to your mechanic. You’re removing the 2 screws that hold the mount to the car. There’s one bolt holding the shock to the mount and if you can manage to squeeze a socket and get your wrench and free the bolt with the limited space you can avoid having to remove the lower bolt holding the whole shock in place. Otherwise you’ll need to take the whole shock out so you can reach that one nut.Expect your existing screws to be seized. I would recommend getting some penetrating oil and spraying the existing bolts liberally At least a half hour beforehand; the longer the better... even the day before lol. Having an impact gun also makes removal and install much easier... or you could be one of the lucky ones and everything comes apart easily. The way these are manufactured and because they are exposed to the elements; they will wear and break eventually just like any other exposed part on your car. I believe these should be replaced around 50,000kms anyways. So As long as it lasts a few years it's doing its job. Remember to tighten properly. This piece is taking a lot of vibration and if it isn’t mounted properly could lead to premature breaking. For the price, it's a good buy. I don't see a difference from the one I purchased from a supplier versus the one I purchased here.

Installed ona 2005 Mazda 3 GT. It fit perfectly and came with replacement nuts. Good thing too! The fact that it wasn't an easy install had nothing to do with the part...it had to do with the stripped nuts holding it on and the prep work required to get to the actual installation. The ACTUAL part install is a slide on procedure and tightening 2 nuts. Simple job nice you make it to that point. If you're attempting this project its doable and you can save yourself some money however, if you don't own or have access to a fairly powerful impact gun (ideally air), a stripped bolt remover set as well as a pipe wrench to hold the strut to remove the top nut that holds the mount on the strut you're going to have issues 99% of the time. With the proper tools its an couple hour job. BUT..." the Youtube Guy said it was quick and easy' Ahahahaha
