This said it fit the vehicle we ordered it for which it does not. Had ordered this for a 1984 corvette and is way too long!

Cable was too short like everyone else on here is saying. Don't buy this item! A lot of time and work to put these in to find out they are too short not impressed!

Fast shipping. Manufactured incorrectly. Had to customize the two ends at the hood latches.

The cable adjustment length was far too short. While the over all length of the cable on the driver side was adequate, the passenger side was just enough.I was able to lay the cable out but the threaded plastic adjustment sleeve did not have enough travel. I had to trim the threaded end on the cable jacket by about an inch to allow the adjustment sleeve to retract back far enough to slip into the clip and then also have the cable end snap into the actuator.I read many of the same stories on various forums but since I had the cable and felt confidant in trimming the end back I kept it. Trimming the end was non trivial. As you have to slowly snip away threaded end without clipping the strands of the cable.

Cable weren't the right length. Had to augment the casing to make it fit. Fortunately it was for a car that is being sold but other than that it is a complete fail.
