Easy to replace. Done in a few minutes. Worked! Until it didnt. 3 months.Assumed the valve was good because it was new. Was at a loss. Replaced my pump cause I knew it was going bad it didn't fix the whole problem. Started checking wiring because code pointed to “Check valve A circuit”. I ended up contacting Dorman support for resistance values and turns out it is bad. Luckily, they have lifetime warranty !

This was a replacement for one I bought from another company off Amazon, this one was about 100 dollars more, which is a bit pricey, but seems to be holding up for now, it's been on my 2011 Toyota Tundra for about two weeks now, will update if things go sideways.

Installing this new part saved me about $2500 in repairs. The original valves rusted and seized tripping a check engine code and threw my truck into limp mode (very slow acceleration). Not that hard to replace as they valves sit on the top part of each side of the engine.

Along with the other Dorman secondary valve I purchased for the other side (bank 2). This one also failed after about a month. Do not buy Dorman products. Had to pay a lot of money at a shop to have them replace the same part again and charge me 3x as much.

Check engine light and traction control off light came on. Read code and it came back P106B. After some research, there are 2 air valves that can cause this error on the 4.6L. The driver side seemed to be most common so I bought this part and CEL went off after driving for a bit.
