Vent valve fixed the issue. My only issue was that the solid hose that wraps around the charcoal canister does set down lower than the one from the factory. I had to barely connect this vent valve to the canister mount because it was pressing down onto the vent valve solid housing so hard/tight. I don't forsee an issue with it but it does fit a little awkwardly. Otherwise very happy with the purchase. I replaced the charcoal canister at the same time. That fixed my large evap leak codes/loose gas cap codes as well. 2012 GMC Acadia Denali 3.6.

good part fit great. It stopped the light coming on to fix gas cap. But i had to drop the gas tank to get to it. That was a Pain.

Thought I'd diy to save a few bucks. Installed and codes still come back. Take car to shop and they tell me I did everything right just the new part is junk.

Part was not quite the right size... Main prebent rigid tubing was too long where connected to the vent making it difficult to attach, it is supposed to fit into a tight spot on top of fuel tank... The canister side was long as well.

Pros:Did fix error code once I could get it installedCons:Had to sand down plastic mount to get to fitUnit listed as compatible with GMC Acadia but requires adapter cable to connect which was not indicated on item's Amazon page. Almost returned unit until researched on another retailer's website to find the problem and then ordered cable
