I have an 04 F150 extended cab with the unfortunate molded pvc pipes and sensor all on one. Oem part is very hard and expensive to get. Aftermarket parts just have the sensor. This kit has everything you need. I was really happy with this and best of all I did it without dropping my fuel tank or cutting an access hole. Yes, its possible believe it or not... atleast on my Ford....I did it laying on the ground.... I had enough access to cut lines, install the compression fittings and the new sensor. All works great

I tried to find out if this would work on my 2007 mustang, but i got no answers so i took a risk, i installed it and can definitely say it works for my 2007 mustang, the fault has gone on my computer and the car is refilling the tank without any clicking!

I bought this part about 3 years ago, at the time I researched for a fuel tank pressure sensor for 2005 expedition, said exact fit for my vehicle, had part installed now part has failed, reviewed passed orders. Found part to reorder, now says does not fit my vehicle, come to find out that the part was never correct the first time. That's why it failed so soon, buyers beware, do your research make sure the part is correct and correct for your vehicle, do not rely on Amazon's opinion that it's guarantee fit

The hoses and connectors are good but the sensor is defective. I went ahead and asked for a replacement , waited 2 days and installed it ,and the same problem persist.See the codes my scanner was reading were , P0455 and P0451 . It did fix the code P0455 ,because the sensor shows on my scanner's Live data , that its always under vacuum , showing a voltage of 4.2V even when the sensor is not vaccum pressure and the gas cap is off , it still shows 4.2V. So the sensor will take off the message on the instrument cluster that says (Check Gas Cap ) , but it will light up you check engine light with a code P0451 since the voltage does not vary during your drive cycle. It wont show up right away but it will show up after the car has cool down completely and warmed up a couple time in the process of its drive cycle. Therefore , the sensor is defective. Keep the hose adaptaion kit , but buy the oem sensor so you won't have the same problem.

I used this to replace my fuel tank pressure sensor in a 2004 F150 (new body style). Not too fun dropping the fuel tank to get access, but once it was out this was easy to install. Kit includes fittings to splice the hard plastic fuel pressure vent tubing. I recommend pressurizing the tank with some compressed air to check for leaks (soapy water on connections bubble if its leaking) prior to re-installing.
