My 99 F350 is at least on its fourth shift tube, but I've missed at least one of those operations. I didn't even know this part should exist the last few times I've replaced the broken tube, so I'm happy with the slightly cushioned action now that I've put it where it belongs. Installation was easy, no install instructions or extra parts included. 2-pack means I have a spare.

super easy install...fixed my 25 yr old shifter issues...it is a wear part tho so be aware it will need replaced too at some point but very happy I even recieved 2 in my package thanks Doorman

Easy, sure fix for a floppy f150 shifter

I installed this item in my Ford Ranger about a year ago. I noticed that for the last few months my shift handle was getting more and more play in movement. I was thinking that sometime came loose in there. When I took the cover off the steering column I found that the play was coming from this item. After I removed it I found that it had completely come apart. The material is far too soft to last long. I ordered and installed one from Ford (OEM). The cost was only about $7.00. When I installed the OEM part, there was a a big difference in the play on the shift lever. Do yourself a favor and buy the OEM one from Ford. You will be much happier in a year! In the photo I have already install the new OEM part.

Fits perfect in my 99 7.3. If your shifter is floppy definitely replace your old bushing with this
