I was expecting more severe reasons of oil all around the fill cap and spark plugs coils but luckily it was just worn old cap.. so relieved! Fits perfect in 2005 1.8t GLI

4 months still snug no splash no vacuum leak and caused car code issues traction light on get around 40 miles per hour started to shake vibrations with car driving and lose power also put spark plugs in adition...True 100!

Perfect fit..the gasket alone costs $10, why not just replace the whole cap for a couple bucks more. Had oil leaking out of the fill hole making a huge mess inside the engine bay.I think the oil change specialist smoked a little too much for lunch and somehow damaged the tabs on my original cap. The two metal tabs are what act as springs and keep the cap tight. Can’t imagine what VW dealer would try to charge for this.

Not even close. Amazon's fit thing claims it does but it barely fit pass the engine cover and then doesn't actually lock into anything so it just sits there. Will be returning.

Fit 2004 Audi A4 just fine. Not as heavy duty as the original, but it does the job.
