Used this on my old UJM motorcycle that has KN filter pods and airbox removed. Put this on the crankcase breather tube that comes out of the valvecovers. Can't seal the breather tube because I dont want pressure building up and blowing out oil and seals. And dont want to leave it open and allow dirt/debri to get sucked in. With just a foam filter the breather tube is noisy. This check valve solved all the issues, no noise, no dirt getting in, but letting pressure vent as needed.

Normally when this part goes bad on the vehicle the car becomes harder to brake. On my Jeep Wrangler the opposite actually happened. After using my brakes they wouldn't release. I originally suspected the brake cylinder, but it turned out after replacing this super low cost check valve that solved the problem completely.

The hose from a 2005 expedition Eddie Bauer is too big to fit on this. It's too bad because the OEM part is near impossible to find apart from wreckers

I bought a chrome air vacuum tank for my old car off eBay and the check valve was a piece of crap, not sure what they were thinking. The tank works great and so I purchased this check valve and it is high quality and sturdy.

High quality, perfect fit. Mine went in a WJ: 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 4.0. It doesn’t come with the rubber grommet because that is a separate part that lasts much longer than a check valve. If you already ripped your grommet out of your brake booster, order that, too. If your grommet looks worn, cracked, or warped, order it! The hose fitting is also spot on correct. If your hose is loose, trim the stretched end. If it’s still loose, it needs to be replaced. If you just replaced it & it doesn’t fit, the hose is the wrong size. This little valve is the center of a team that manages your air pressure in your brakes. Brakes are important. Doing this repair wrong can kill you & other people on the road. If this is a struggle for you, this part is not to blame. Hunt down the real problem or get a certified mechanic!
