It finally happened! These things have been a pain in the butt for years and the only thing you could do was replace with plastic crap that would break again and again. Gruven made some but they honestly weren't even that great and they were $200 for a set which was ridiculous. I got oem fittings off eBay for $60 and replaced mine last summer as preventative maintenance as I had the originals on my 2012 Suburban. I remember looking everywhere for a better product but they didn't exist besides the expensive Gruvens. Many folks reached out to Dorman and other companies about making metal fittings and they finally made it happen! Went ahead and ordered both to keep in the burb along with 6 or 7 feet of 5/8 heater hose and 2 clamps in case these blow. Anyone that has these fittings on their ride should definitely order a set.

I would suggest anyone replacing heater hose connector to use these metal ones instead of cheap plastic connectors.
