The heater hose coupler on the passenger right side, top of the intake manifold on my 1999 K1500 Suburban 5.7-liter engine failed. I got lucky as the failed one was made of brass and came out easily, rather than the factory aluminum type that break off a lot at the top of the manifold leaving metal inside the manifold threads...not fun. After removal, this new coupler fit perfectly and took but a few turns of the wrench to get it seated/sealed properly. Works perfectly with no leaks. I am 100% happy and can highly recommend this.

I had to do intake gaskets on my 1998 Chevy 4.3l. This fitting was stock....plastic. Needless to say it fell apart when I touched the hose. The replacement fitting fit into the intake with out an issue!

Purchase this connector for cooling hose connection on a GM 6.5 turbo diesel. Couldn't find anywhere if this would fit for sure so took a chance and purchased. Installed and it fits with no leaks. Has been in the truck for several months now with no signs of trouble. As this part is no longer available from GM dealer this aftermarket part is a great replacement.

I really hate these things. I almost went with a regular hose barb to replace this on my old Chevy. But for some reason that I will likely regret later, I decided to keep this quick connect style fitting for the heater hose that goes to the intake. Even writing this review, I cannot for the life of me remember why I decided not to convert the heater hose to a regular hose clamp style connection. Consider it yourself. These parts are cheap, and the plastic gets brittle. But if you're trying to keep stuff original style on your old Chevy this is the way to go.No leaks, and installed with no issues on my 1997 Chevy K1500 5.7 Vortec.
