Does exactly what I bought it for, which is extending the factory brake lines on a 2007 crown Vic for a hot rod truck project. Stretched the frame/wheelbase 14” and this accomplished the brake like portion of the project.

For the record. This Adapter is threaded 7/16" - 24 FEMALE for 1/4" brake lineAnd the other end is threaded 3/8" - 24 Male for 3/16" break lineFor some reason this is the more rare adapter ... and is more expensive.If you have the Flaring kit, with the fitting assortment .. And double end female Unions .. You can make it into just about ANY, 1/4" to 3/16" or 3/16" to 1/4" adapter you would ever need.But if you need this SPECIFIC Adapter .. just get it it is well worth the money!!I had a flexible rubber brake line that needed the BIGGER 7/16 - 24 thread, on one end .... and this worked flawlessly!! .. It saved me having to hunt down an oddball flexible (and probably crazy expensive) hose for my old truck.
