Fit and finish gets 5 stars. (1) Be aware that you need to use existing screws to tap threads into aluminum inserts in motor. Do this on table/workbench before installing in vehicle. Use some lubricant to assist tapping holes. (2) Test switch operation before putting door panel back on. I had to reverse wires by cutting and splicing for proper up/down operation by switch.

None of the three harness adapter plugs match the socket for the rear window on a 2001 4Runner. I was going to just splice in the connector from the old motor once I bolted in the new motor.I got the old motor out (use a short right angle ratchet and a Torx bit). The bolts are 5mm metric but the motor has no threads on the metal inserts; I guess you’re supposed to tap in threads using the old bolts. No new bolts come with the new motor. One of the metal inserts just began spinning in the plastic as I was trying to thread it so it was not going to be possible to thread that metal insert.I think that if I had had an actual 5mm metric tap that I could have cut the threads.

My window motor stopped working in my 1988 Toyota supra, replaced the OEM motor with this one. Was a bit of a paint doing the work because of the area inside the door, but the motor itself was a direct swap and fit perfectly. Now the window works again and it even moves up and down faster than the other window now with this new motor. I might replace the other side now just so it moved faster like this one.

Manufacturer’s website indicated it fits 98 4Runner rear lift gate window. Technically that’s correct, but it required cutting and reattaching the old motor wiring plug. I have the tools and tapped threads on the motor mounts bolt holes for a cleaner install. The modifications tripled the installation time, thus the 4 stars. I’m confident it will last the lifetime left on a 24 year old vehicle.

The part arrived almost exactly as I needed it... The only part so far that is incorrect is that the mounting bracket on the motor came with no internal threads to screw the bolts into. So I have to go buy a tap to manually create some threads. Super annoying.I will update the motor performance once I get it installed.

Installed on a 2005 Tundra passenger side. Worked well and was easy to install. As some other have mentioned, the screw holes on the motor are self tapping, so I lined up the holes with the track, hand screwed them all at the same time, little by little to make sure the motor gear lined up with the teeth. The polarity was in reverse for my truck so I had to swap the wires. I used splice connectors which made it easy, but I should have cut the wires closer to the other end of the connector, so they would sit on the inside of the door's plastic water shield. I think the connections will be ok though since they are pretty tight. One more thing: before you put the new motor and rack back in, plug it in and make sure that the window goes up and down properly and see if you have to reverse the wires like I did. You might be able to pull the wire harness out and reverse it after you install the motor into the door, but testing it first will save time.

Fits 1999 sienna passenger side window perfectly. Tricky getting the whole assembly out. The three screws are self tapping. Find youtube videos. Other tricky part was that you need to line up the two bolts that holds the regulator assy to the window. Right is okay, the left is thru a hole that would fit the socket. My problem was that the motor was dead. Waited too long. So if yours is starting to die, a few inches, wait 5 minutes, another inch or so, wait etc. Last time I waited two weeks and then ordered. To line up the left bolt, move the window about half way down. I saw this on youtube. I did not need the whole assy, just this motor. Good luck.

The device works fine, and one of the enclosed connectors fits the 2000 Toyota Sienna. You need to find instructions on the internet or in a manual. One detail is that the original mounting screws are thread forming. Before you try to install the motor, you should lay it on a stable surface, so you can put some pressure on the screws, while turning them to form threads about half way through the holes. This will make it easy to start the screws when you mount the motor.

Product came in a timely fashion. The 3 different harnesses didn't fit my Landcruiser, but it was easy to cut the old harness male plug from the old motor and splice it to the one of the three wire choices. One of the reviewers talked about having to bore out the screw taps and insert new ones into the new motor housing. That isn't the solution, the smooth metal holes are self taping and receive the threaded screws without a problem, just carefully thread them in with low RPM on your power drill and don't over torque. I am glad I did the research and fixed my window saving a at least $200.
