2003 Ford Escape was throwing a EGR code, problem was the wire to the connector, not the EGR valve, The break in the cable was right near to the connector so this was a perfect fix.

Part does not fit a Crown Victoria at all. The pigtail is to small to plug in. At a quick glance they look identical until you look at the slots on the inside.

This connector worked perfect, cured my check engine light issue on a 2003 Mazda Tribute. Wire length was plenty to connect to the original wires which are assembled too tight on these models and end up failing.Description says it doesn't fit but it does fit the 2003 Tribute w/3.0 V6

This is exactly what I needed to fix my ‘02 Ford Escape 3.0! I had the typical (very common) EGR code 1409“EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid Curcuit” code for at least two months... I replaced the EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid, upper and lower intake manifold gaskets (plugs & coil packs at the same time), PCV Valve AND all vacuum lines a year ago, the EGR valve & went over the vacuum system many times... the light was still on. 😡😡😡I’d stumbled accross very specific electrical diagnostic testing and went for it... I missed part of that the first time... continuity between the Vacuum Regulator Solenoid connector (violet wire) and pin # 47 on the PCM Harness Connector itself. Upon revisiting this I determined the harness and the actually Solenoid connector itself had no continuity. I ordered this two days ago and installed it yesterday. WHAT A PAIN IN THE BUTT for someone with big hands! But it worked perfectly! Make sure you either have yourself set up for soldering it OR have extra butt connectors on hand! Also use heat shrink and protect your work!NOTE: check to make sure your PCM harness IS supported properly where it’s supposed to be on the post from the EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid. Mine was broken which typically is what creates the problem!
