With Performance and great fitment, this axle seems a great value for money. I installed it on my 03 grand marquis. As of this review, it's only seem about 370miles. Hoping it holds up!

Everything else was there, axle is installed, but there was no bearing in the package. There were lug nuts and the seal, just no bearing. 1st axle has probably 15k miles on it, so far so good. Dorman told me to go to Amazon for a replacement, they sent and that one also did not have a bearing. Sort of a pain in the ass to keep having to return axle kits just to get a bearing, so I gave up after 2 incomplete kits.

Says it comes with all components to install. It does not come with a bearing or seal. Had to spend another $30 at the local auto parts store for those. Wish I checked the box before pulling the axle apart.

I purchased two of these for my wife's 2004 Grand Marquis. Everything fit perfect. I did NOT switch out the tone ring as many have said is necessary and my ABS is working just fine. I have almost a 1000 miles on them so far.Update:It's been about a year and these are holding up just fine on my wife's daily driver.

cheaper than local parts store. Had to replace a ford soft metal recall shaft a dirty mechanic put on my car. I never let mechanics touch my cars but had some insurance repairs going on and the original was a ford recall soft metal so they replace it for me "cheap" gee thanks.hopefully this last and the bearing doesnt eat into the shaft like the bad ford shafts of old.

This is the third time I have had to replace my shaft due to failing bearings this is the best product to do this with because of the price and it will last long

It fit and seems to be great. I've put 5000 miles on it and have had no issues. I wasn't too impressed with the bearing and seal that came with it, and this is a pretty big job, so I just went and bought a premium bearing and seal and threw out the ones that came with it. The actual axle is a very solid part though. I recommend it.

I have always used local parts stores for replacement auto parts in the past. I was a little nervous purchasing a major part online. When my car (2003 Grand Marquis) burnt up a bearing and wore into the axle I looked for a replacement locally. All the stores needed to special order it, taking at least 2 days. Amazon Prime popped in my head, so I thought why not look. To my suprise I found this part; not only 66% the cost of local, but on Prime - free shipping! So I decided to give it a try.The part was delivered in packaging that did a good job of protecting it. It was well oiled - no rust or corrosion. This is the same brand as I would have gotten locally. I installed it, have been driving an average of 30 miles a day, and waited 3 months to write this review. This has been a great experience and the product is as expected.I will be checking Amazon auto parts for any that I don't need or can't get immediately locally.
