I had an issue with one of the plastic bushings on the transmission of my OEM part wearing out and not staying on so only one wiper blade was moving. I attempted to replace the bushing but that was extremely difficult due to the bushing not being strong enough to withstand the force of being installed and breaking. I broke like 3 different 4 packs of those things. And even after finally getting the bushing in the fix didn't work and the wiper just didn't last. Since that didn't work out I brought this part to a local mechanic and they installed it and we tested it. I went home for a bit then went to a gym. It rained while I was in the gym and came out to a wet windshield and went to turn on the wipers and it seems that now it's dead. I checked the fuse and that seems fine so unless there is a wire disconnected I'm SOL again. Hopefully some wire just came undone or something. Maybe they haven't thrown away the oem motor and that can be swapped or something. If the oem just used a bolt or something instead of a stupid plastic bushing it would have probably lasted forever but instead here I am -$250 and still don't have windshield wipers because I didn't want to spend even more at the dealership...
