The Dorman site doesn't list this as compatible with the 89-93 Nissan 240sx, but says its compatible with the 300zx. These 2 models share the same fuel tank o-ring part number, and this fit perfectly in the tank. I reused the OEM hardware

My old 96 Nissan 200sx always smelled like gas when too full. This took car of that annoyance.

I was hesitant as amazon stated this item didn't fit my car. It fit right into place. And the O-Ring is better than the Autozone oem alt with no screws...

The o ring fits the groove of the tank ALMOST perfect- it was very easy to get into place and make the final tightening of the bolts. I have used 2 other brands including the “ oem” Which was loose after the first install a month later when i had to pull the pump again…. and simply would not seal so I had to replace it.OEM on left.. Dorman on right. Notice size differenceThe bolts that come in this kit are the correct thead pitch but do not include washers like the OEM do they are still available from nissan at around 2$ea.I ended up only needing a couple bolts and had my own washers so that worked out for me. I would recommend using small washers if you plan on using these bolts. also some loctite would be handy too.

That's what we want, perfect fit and function like the Original Nissan part. Dorman usually comes through in spades and at a great quality and price, they nailed this one!. Do not remove you fuel tank send unless you've got one of these standing by to replace the old one!!
