Please, please inspect and keep up with maintenance schedule on your vehicle as best that you can. I have a 1997 Honda accord 2.2L. The old grommet was a pain to remove because it appears to have never been replaced (I'll blame the previous owner). This car I recently bought was very poorly maintained all over with the exception of oil changes. The PCV grommet was completely hardened like old plastic, broke in many pieces and part of it fell into the valve cover. I had to remove the valve cover, clean remove old pices, reseal with new gasket and reinstall. If you have this problem, be sure to get a new valve cover gasket kit. I also had oil down in the sparkplug tubes. The upper tube seals were bad. Luckily the lower ones were were still ok and not leaking. If they were, it would have turned into a valve job. It always seems a simle job like replacing a PCV grommet and PCV valve turns out to be a bigger job. This New PCV grommet was very easy to install and a perfect fit. I used a touch of silicone spray lube to make it easier to push into the hole on the valve cover. But that may not be necessary for you.

Perfect fit for my Honda Accord 1999 v6. I only have it installed for 2 weeks and it’s not leaking. Time will tell.
