I broke two sets of stock leaf springs on my Ram 1500 in the last 75k miles. I do a lot of towing, off road driving, and hauling; despite my best efforts to keep my truck's suspension in good shape, I always felt that the leaf springs were the weak link. My bed has a rated payload of 1,450lbs, and I would never put more than 1,200lbs in the bed. For some reason, I'd still manage to crack a leaf.These 2,200lb springs are rated for about 500lbs more than the stock springs. I am using Bilstein 5100 shocks from a Ram 2500 in rear, along with heavy duty shackles with poly bushings. I also needed to upgrade to longer U-Bolts, manufactured by a local heavy duty truck shop. The ride with these leaf springs is noticeably harsher; my bed is raised about 2-3" higher than before, but I am so very pleased with the increased performance when carrying heavy loads and towing. This is the upgrade I wish I did 4 years ago when I bought the truck, but I am happy to be back on the right path.

Ordered two of these leaf springs to replace my worn out springs on a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500.They arrived exactly when expected.They fit perfectly and fairly easy to install.

Installed on 04 ram 1500. Nice upgrade from the 1700 lb factory springs. Hauled 1 ton of gravel after they were put on the springs did a great job hauling the load.

I put these springs on yesterday and I'm real happy with them. The ride feels more controlled without being too harsh. The back also sits a little higher now. I had to readjust the driver seat. I'll probably readjust my headlights after the springs settle a little bit. My advise is to tighten the bushings with the full weight of the vehicle resting on the axle. I also recommend longer U-bolts. I believe the factory ones are 7" long but I got 8" long ones since the springs are a little thicker.
