No issues at all. Really liked the quick wire connector that was included. If the end of your wires are not straight just bend them back straight before inserting into the connector. Power off before any electrical work of course. Easy install. Works great.

This was like an OEM replacement. No extra wires to deal with. Came with 3 years warranty card. Very well packaged.

Product was easy to install and under load delivers slightly more than the voltage that it claims. After more than 1 week its operation is normal and problem free.

I bought this to replace my 17-year old transformer; this powers the door bell and the lighted address number sign. Great price and easy to install; plethora of youtube videos to help. ***A word of caution: please ensure you turn OFF the breaker and triple check to ensure there is NO POWER in your work space.

Our old transformer crapped out when we tried installing two Google nest doorbell cameras. We thought it was the cameras, but I discovered our transformer stopped putting out any power. This replacement works great and it putting out about 20 volts. Unfortunately I already returned the doorbell cameras as I thought they were the issue in cold weather as people have reported. This transformer works great!

My original transformer voltage output dropped to 14 volts and was not enough to power my standard doorbell and chime. I bought this one to replace it. Installation was straightforward and installed it in same spot as old one off a closet light. Checked voltage output and it was a solid 18 volts. Doorbell lighting back up and working along with chime. A week later noticed doorbell no longer lighting up. Checked it and was not signaling chime. Again checked voltage and now only reading 14 volts which is again too low (this is a 16v transformer). Sigh-returning back to amazon and will go to hardware store and buy another.

I just moved into a new place and the doorbell transformer was right above my desk. The existing one was quite old and emitted a constant buzzing noise (which is what old transformers do), so I wanted to replace it. This was a good price and met the needed specs.Swapping out the old and new transformers was simple and only took a few minutes. It's working great and it's completely quiet! This was one of the lower priced transformers on Amazon so I was glad it works perfectly for me.

Our existing transformer was 10V and that was not enough to run our new smart doorbell in conjunction with our mechanical doorbell. After accepting this reality, I searched for a 16 V transformer to be within the minimum requirements of the new smart doorbell to function properly but not so much voltage that it would fry our 50 year old plus mechanical doorbell.Ordered and received this doorbell transformer in one day. Although not a critical item I am happy about that quick shipment during this pandemic. There were 2 options and I chose this one because of price and they promised an earlier receive date. It was well packaged. The unit seems well built or at least as good as the old one. Our old unit wiring setup did not have a ground wire so I capped the green wire on the new transformer. The plate on the junction box locks right in to the metal housing of the transformer with the standard plastic threading and locking nut so hopefully that is ok for a ground. This may be wrong so don't do the same thing unless you know what you are doing.Installation was easy. The transformer was located in an easily accessible utility closet that was next to the doorbell mechanism on the wall. Just make sure you cut off power prior to messing with removal and installation. Having a multimeter is helpful. If you are not sure about the fuse switch for the doorbell, flip the switch for the whole house. One thing to be mindful of with this unit. Despite being rated as 16V it did register 20.8V on my meter. Old unit tested just above 10V. I tested it after install and then again a couple of days later and it is consistent at the 20.8V. If this is an issue with your doorbell be warned. Apparently it is still within the range for both the smart video doorbell and the old mechanical chime unit on the wall.I suggest you install the unit then, before installing the leads to your doorbell, turn on the power and check the voltage output on the transformer. If acceptable, remember to turn power off again prior to hooking leads from doorbell to new transformer.Pros:Fast ship from this vendorEasy to installSolid unitNo loud humming sound like old transformerConsistently at the 20.8V output (despite being 16V)Instructions included (did not read)Cons:If you absolutely need 16V max, this may be an issue

Replaced old transformer and doorbell works fine. The junctions box screw/clamp (nut) is plastic so it can't be tightened as much as my old metal one. Not much to hold so not a big deal.It came with a quick/fast disconnect came in the box so wiring was easy. Just pull back the 6 levers, insert wires, and close the levers.Note: My doorbell was giving off a buzzing/humming noise. As a process of elimination I bought this transformer but the noise didn't go away. After inspecting the doorbell wiring I noticed the wires were crossed. The one labeled "Transformer" wasn't coming from the transformer. Once I switched the two wires the buzzing stopped. Turns out there was nothing wrong with my old transformer of ~31 years.
